No lifts. No fall risk from working at height.
Cruise ship exterior cleaning, from hulls and balconies to upper decks and water attractions. Choose a complete ship program or the specific areas you need cleaned.
Plan a complete exterior-cleaning program or a focused visit for your hull, stern, balconies, upper works or top-deck attractions. We build the scope around your vessel and schedule.
Hull sides, transom, counter, flare and exterior superstructure, as a complete program or selected areas.
Balcony exteriors, outboard glazing, feature glass and bridge windows, with a deionized rinse for glass.
Uptake casings, masts, radar arches and elevated ship structures, without lifts or rope teams.
Upper-deck exterior structures, waterslide flumes and the elevated surfaces around onboard attractions.
Curtain wall, gangway enclosures and canopies, cleaned between calls by the same crew.
Close visual imagery and thermal screening of exterior surfaces, with dated condition records to guide further inspection between drydockings.
The system in action
Our Jacksonville demonstration on September 24, 2026 put the cleaning drone alongside a ship’s exterior and upper structures.
These photographs show the spray in operation, the hose-fed aircraft and the pilot’s controller. The same access method supports a focused cleaning visit or a broader exterior-maintenance program.
Shoreside services
Grime-covered terminal glass clouds the view of your ship and detracts from the guest experience before boarding even begins. Clean, clear glass lets the vessel take center stage and helps create a welcoming first impression.
We clean terminal glass, curtain walls, gangway enclosures and canopies, with work coordinated around passenger movement and port schedules.
How we work
A tethered industrial spray drone carries the nozzle to the selected ship surface. The pilot, pump and crew stay well clear of every mooring line. Nobody works at height, over the side or in the snap-back zone. No lifts, staging or rope access are needed.
Focused work is sequenced between debark and embark. Larger exterior programs can be planned across scheduled calls.
Drone access avoids the setup and repositioning of lifts, staging and rope-access systems.
Power and water run up the tether. The aircraft stays on a fixed, predictable leash.
Work areas and hose routes are coordinated around provisioning, baggage and passenger flow, with a posted cordon.
We bring the pilots, aircraft, pump plant and port approvals. Nothing is hoisted aboard.
Stern lines put the whole aft end inside the mooring snap-back zone, so there's no safe place for a stage, a cradle or a basket. Shipboard booms and davits don't reach the lower counter or flare, and the outboard face of aft balcony glass can't be reached at all.
So those surfaces wait for drydock, and ships across the industry sail out with stained sterns in every departure photo and video.
We're adding robotic underwater hull cleaning, so the same team can keep the hull clean below the waterline as well as above it.
Remotely operated underwater cleaning is a planned expansion of AeroMarine Drone’s services.
Let’s review your vessel
We'll review your vessel, berth and priorities with you, then propose a pilot for a selected area or a complete exterior-cleaning program.
